Honorary Consul General

marianne-1About Marianne Nasha Mulangala Muipatayi

I am a legal assistant, renowned business leader and women’s advocate. I have experience working in both the private and public sectors in the Democratic Republic of Congo as well as in the United Kingdom, Belgium. My background provide me with two key skills ideal for the position of Honorary Consul of Hungary in the Democratic Republic of Congo: firstly expertise in European government and business, and secondly a powerful network of entrepreneurs and political leaders within the Democratic Republic of Congo.

I am the founder and leader of the Association of Business Women of Congo “AFAC”, one of the main national networks for women entrepreneurs. The network, founded in 2008, has 315 individual members. This unique club also has a broad mission: it has worked to train women inside and outside parliament to become more experienced in politics. This means that the organization has some of the best and closest links with the main parliamentarians of a national association.
Member of the working committee as an expert in the United Nations Convention to Combat Corruption.
